This is a charming vintage oval serving platter by Johnson Bros in their beloved "Rose Chintz" pattern. Made in England, this ceramic platter features a beautiful hand-engraved floral design with pink roses, green leaves, and small blue accents, all under the glaze for permanent, acid-resisting color. The backstamp clearly reads "A GENUINE HAND ENGRAVING ROSE CHINTZ MADE IN ENGLAND by Johnson Bros ALL DECORATION UNDER THE GLAZE PERMANENT & ACID RESISTING COLOR PAT. NO. 160,783". The platter. Sold as is/as found; please review all photos for condition. Visible crazing is present across the surface, consistent with its vintage age.
